Unlimited Personal Time Off
</aside>
Unlimited personal time off at insideOUT is our way of treating people like responsible adults, taking a break when we need so we can remain fresh and sharp when we’re at work! This also saves us a lot of time and cost in leave admin, which is not a trivial task.

Flexible Working Hours
</aside>
insideOUT is built on a culture of trust, so we are all trusted to manage our own working hours. We want everyone to have the ability to build a schedule that works for them, as work-life balance looks different for everyone. We encourage you to take the time you need to tend to your personal commitments such as family time, important events, and your health.
- Best practices for communicating your work hours
- Not everyone has the same working arrangement, so make sure to talk to your team if you need to make changes to your work hours. Transparency is key!
- When you are unavailable, make sure you let your team know and ensure that all of your responsibilities are covered. If you will be away when you are supposed to be leading a meeting, working with a customer, etc., make sure to document what needs to be done and share with a team member who can help you out. Your manager should be aware as well.
- We all use Google Calendar which is great for async communication. You can set your working hours for others to see, put time blocks for focus time and/or times for when you’ll be away from your desk, and time off. Read here on how to customize your Google calendar and how to view your team’s calendars.
- Slack is a great way to let people know if you’re available or not. Click here to learn how to change your Slack status and availability.

Paid Parental Leave

Work shouldn’t interfere with important life events, so we offer 6 months parental leave so you can focus on your family.

Health Benefits & Other Insurances
</aside>
In locations where additional health and insurance benefits are available, we'll try to provide them.
In locations without a mandatory health insurance system, we offer health insurance and cover 100% of the cost for you. If you'd like to extend coverage to your dependents, you will cover the cost.
Considering we are Global, we use different benefit providers to provide in-country support.
As a minimum, you should be covered for the following (but it's always good to double check your policy so you, yourself, is certain of what you have):
- Medical care plan
- Dental care plan
- Benefit Information for Internal Employees
- You are automatically opted into health insurance. Of course, you have the choice to opt out.
- The enrollment form and T&Cs are given to you as part of onboarding. If you don't know where this is, or feel like you should have received something when you haven't, contact Dave Smith.
- Employee-only policies
- insideOUT will fund the premium of your employee-only policy.
- Extending policy to family: You may want the ability to bring in your family and next of kin so that they are covered as well. If you choose to extend the policy, then you will pay for the extra coverage yourself. In almost all cases, this amount will be deducted from your net salary. We are working with our payroll providers as well as internally to bring you the ability to do this.
